Catoosa County GOP Hosts a Guest Speaker You Won't Want to Miss! Plus:
VERY IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT A LOCATION CHANGE! (Bottom of Page)
It's Election Season in Catoosa County and that means our educational monthly meetings have become a must-attend for up-to-date news on who is running and what volunteer opportunities exist for people to be involved.
Monday night will be Incumbent Night for candidate announcements. All current Republican incumbents in county office have been invited to speak for five minutes. Additionally, any other potential candidates who have filed Declaration of Intent paperwork to run for office with the Board of Registrars will also be allowed to introduce themselves in a five minute presentation.
The Five Minute Rule will be zealously enforced so that we can save ample time for our guest speaker, Dale Jackson.
Dale Jackson is a model citizen activist. He has been married to his wife Sarah for 14 years, and they have three children: Camille (10yo), Colin (8yo) and Gavin (2yo). He is Owner/Partner of Jackson Heating & Air, a 43yo family business that serves LaGrange GA and most of the 3rd Congressional District where Dale serves as District Chairman for the Republican Party. He was also a national delegate alternate to the 2012 RNC convention in Tampa.
What sets Dale apart is how he identifies himself: He is the father of an autistic son, Colin. Colin's health condition and it's impact on their family has driven Dale into the public arena as the key citizen spokesperson in Georgia for legalized cannabis oil treatment. Dale has been an outspoken activist in favor of allowing cannabis oil treatment for an expanded list of medical conditions, as well as in-state cultivation of medical marijuana to protect the families/patients who need cannabis for health purposes.
Based on last month's large attendance numbers, the Catoosa GOP has made a location change for Monday night's meeting. We will be at the Colonnade in the White Oak Room across from the theater auditorium. Doors will open at 6:30 for meeting/greeting/networking, and the meeting will be get started at 7:00. We are looking forward to seeing you there! Come find a way to get involved, to be the difference that needs to be made.
